Finishing Work

Originally I bought a small can of flat black paint, after one coat I could tell this wasn't right. I went back and bought a gallon of super high glossy black, put a few coats on and knew I was on the right track. I did a light sanding between each coat and ended up painting until the whole gallon was gone. I didn't keep track of the number of coats, but I would guess it was about 8 coats. It sounds worse than it is since each coat only takes about 5 to 10 minutes to apply.
